Face Number Twelve

Face #12

So this face belongs to my friend Dean. My best friend Jill took the photo in the early 70's. In this shot he looks a little like Horshack in the TV show Welcome Back Kotter.  This is face #12 in my series One Hundred Faces.

One Hundred Faces #11

Face #11

This sweet little face belongs to Gemma who lives with a wonderful woman who has purchased several of my paintings.  Gemma is a small dog with a big heart!

One Hundred Faces with Character

Face #10

This is a friends Golden Retriever who spent the Fourth of July rolling tennis balls into their swimming pool and then retrieving them!  When I placed this panel up on my counter to dry, my own dog began growling at it.  She was upset that I had brought a strange dog into HER house!  I wish she were my only art critic!

Face Number 9

Face #9 from One Hundred Faces

A cowboy with his saddle thrown over his shoulder is my face #9! Bright sunlight on a portion of his face and I didn't get his shadow side dark enough the first time around
so I had to do some dark glazing.

One Hundred Faces

Face #8 of One Hundred Faces

I love this goat chewing away with his cheeks bulging and starting straight at the camera!
Not sure if I will put names to the paintings or stick with numbers.  Any ideas would be most appreciated!

One again - thank you for viewing my art.  --Jeanette

One Hundred Faces

 Face #7

This painting is part of my series of One Hundred Faces, painted on 6 x 6 panels.  I have a long way to go but I wake up excited to paint each morning!

A Marilyn Monroe look-a-like posed for this shot.

One Hundred Faces

Face number 5 is of my nieces little girl in the snow for the first time
and her middle name happens to be Snow!

These two paintings are part of my series of One Hundred Faces, painted on 6 x 6 panels.  I have a long way to go but I wake up excited to paint each morning and after my pause in painting, it is very lovely to enjoy the process!

Face #6 - I just wonder what he is thinking about?
