Hello 2016
Well I have done it again......
I have signed up for Leslie Saeta's 30 Paintings in 30 Days! So for the next few days I will continue to paint my 100 faces. The above painting is of a dear friend's daughter meeting her son for the first time. I just love how the mom is holding her son so dearly and the baby looks like he is trying to look at his mom and it brings tears to my eyes to see that precious wrinkled finger touching his mother.

Face Number Twelve
Face #12
So this face belongs to my friend Dean. My best friend Jill took the photo in the early 70's. In this shot he looks a little like Horshack in the TV show Welcome Back Kotter. This is face #12 in my series One Hundred Faces.

One Hundred Faces with Character
Face #10
This is a friends Golden Retriever who spent the Fourth of July rolling tennis balls into their swimming pool and then retrieving them! When I placed this panel up on my counter to dry, my own dog began growling at it. She was upset that I had brought a strange dog into HER house! I wish she were my only art critic!

Face Number 9
Face #9 from One Hundred Faces
A cowboy with his saddle thrown over his shoulder is my face #9! Bright sunlight on a portion of his face and I didn't get his shadow side dark enough the first time around
so I had to do some dark glazing.
